Welcome to the internet home of the Madison Heights Neighborhood Association!

The Madison Heights Neighborhood Association (MHNA) was founded in the early seventies by a group of residents dedicated to advocating for neighborhood issues. MHNA seeks to preserve a quality of life in an extremely beautiful part of Los Angeles County. The Association's mission is to provide a community voice to advise city officials, staff, school personnel and the community at large about community needs, events and concerns. Further, MHNA enables us to be actively involved in determining viable solutions.

MHNA also provides a vehicle to raise funds for the purpose of supporting activities that will improve the safety and quality of life in and around the Madison Heights Neighborhood. MHNA has recently been recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, so all contributions to MHNA are now tax deductible.

The MHNA boundaries are Lake, El Molino and Los Robles Avenues to the east and south, Marengo Avenue to the west and California Boulevard to the north. More than 1,400 proud residents reside in the area and enjoy the benefits of committed neighborhood volunteers on City Commissions, civic organizations and nonprofit organizations.

We have participated in major initiatives throughout the years that impact the quality of life in our area and the City of Pasadena. Perhaps the most prominent issue that MHNA has been battling for more than thirty years is traffic! We will continue to advocate for appropriate traffic volume, traffic speed and through traffic reductions in our area. MHNA has been very active in promoting the neighborhood qualities that make Madison Heights such a special place through events such as the annual 4th of July Parade and Block Party and Allendale Christmas Tree Lighting.

Do not be shy about voicing your opinions about traffic matters or anything else that affects our neighborhood. Your voice and your vote counts with Pasadena's City Council. We invite you to use this web site to comment on various topics to our board of directors and encourage you join our Association or even become an active Board member. As a Board member, you can attend our monthly meetings held on the third Monday of each month. Please feel free to contact us if you would like more information about MHNA, the neighborhood, or the area in general.
